Personalized Retirement Gift – Custom Watercolor-Style Workplace Portrait

Honor the years, the people, and the place that became part of their story. Turn a photo of a meaningful workplace into a personalized watercolor-style sketch, a retirement keepsake that celebrates a career and the difference they've made.

From a hospital or dental practice to a fire station, police department, office, or courthouse, a familiar building can hold a lifetime of dedication. Soft color and sketch-like architectural details bring that place to life, while your chosen wording makes the tribute their own.

Give it from the whole team, surprise a retiring colleague, or celebrate someone you love as they begin their next chapter. Long after the farewell gathering, they'll have a reminder of the work, friendships, and memories worth keeping.

Your portrait is professionally created digitally in a watercolor-sketch style, not hand-painted. Frames shown in example images are not included.

How to order your retirement portrait

1. Choose your size and format. Select a digital file, fine art paper print, matted print, or stretched canvas from the available options.
2. Upload your workplace photo. Use the photo-upload field on this listing to send a clear, well-lit image showing the building or location from your preferred angle. Unsure which photo to use? Contact me and I'll gladly review it.
3. Personalize your tribute. Enter the exact wording you'd like in the personalization field on this listing. This might include the recipient's name and professional title, organization, years of service, retirement date, or a short message of appreciation. Double-check spelling, credentials, and dates before placing your order.
4. Watch for your proof. Look out for an email with your portrait proof within 48 hours.
5. Receive your keepsake. Digital portraits are sent to the email address used at checkout. Physical prints are shipped to you.

Words that make it personal

Keep your message simple or celebrate a milestone. For example:

• “In honor of 30 years of dedicated service”
• “With gratitude for your leadership and compassion”
• “Every great story deserves a beautiful new chapter”

Use your own wording to reflect the person and the career you're celebrating.

Keep the meaningful details

Green grass and blue sky are included, with a sunset sky available by request. Removal of security and for-sale signs is included. If a workplace name or sign is important to the tribute, please specify that you'd like it kept.

For an additional fee, I can help remove clutter or neighboring buildings, add landscaping, and make other changes. Contact me about your photo and requested edits before ordering so we can confirm the right option.
